Marty's regrets to announce that lack of sponsorship funding to produce the “fair” has forced us to cancel this year’s event.

However, theBest Dof in the World Contest Winner and five runners-up WILL be announced at Marty’s on Sunday, June 22nd. Of course, as promised, all the proceeds from the competition will be donated to Marty’s Fund at the New Milford Hospital Regional Cancer Center.

Contest Entry Details

The Best Dog in the World (and 5 runners-up) are announced and awarded prizes during the fair – which recognizes the top six “most voted for dogs” in town!

Contestants win by getting the highest number of $1 votes from friends, family and you!

Entry fee is $10 for the first pet and $5 for each additional pet submitted together.

About Marty's Fund

Marty’s Fund is a memorial to my late partner Martin O’Brien (and namesake for Marty’s Café) who lost his battle with cancer in July 2005. The Marty’s Fund supports complimentary care services for cancer patients at the New Milford Hospital’s Cancer Center – where we received the most knowledgeable and attentive care during a difficult battle. My goal since Marty’s death is to be sure that the Cancer Center can continue to provide the small amenities that make the lives of our friends and neighbors more pleasant while they try to beat this dreaded disease.
